Wingsong Rezzer: Hot Air Balloon Ride Taxi Box

The Wingsong Rezzer: Hot Air Balloon Ride Taxi is a great way to draw visitors to your estate, whether you have a small slither of land or a huge collection of sims. It costs just one prim to set out, it's loads of fun, and people will return time and again for their free hot air balloon ride.

We make alot of hot air balloons at the Wingsong Dojo. Similar balloons are available at our Marketplace store for both RIDE versions (which allows passengers) as well as our V2 WEAR versions, which go anywhere you go and does not support passengers.

Note: This is designed for low altitudes - generally up to almost 200 meters or so.

To use, REZ out your rezzer. At first you'll only see the sign. Within a few seconds the first hot air balloon appears and stays there until someone comes along to ride it. For convenience, we've installed 2 notecard givers to distribute the Instructions when anyone touches the sign, or the yellow basket on the balloon.

Here's what that Instruction notecard says:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR WINGSONG HOT AIR BALLOON REZZER RIDE

Right Click on the Balloon and select RIDE from the menu. Begin moving using the flight controls OR the arrow keys as you normally move. You may have to click the balloon one time to prime it. PAGE UP will lift your balloon up, PAGE DOWN lowers you. Up and left/right arrows move you ahead and turns. Down Arrow will put on your brakes.

When you have finished your ride STAND, and it automatically disappears.

I have set the throttle rather low (1 mps) for you to enjoy a very relaxing ride. It has an automatic cruise control, so you can enjoy chatting with friends who may be riding with you. Yes, passengers are allowed! Keeping your finger on the Up Arrow key will make you go fast (6 mps).

Careful for those pesky ban lines, though - riding vehicles usually come out poorly when they smack into a ban line.

Other features: The driver/owner enjoys a unique original Wingsong animation; passengers will wear their defaults and probably sit on the edge of the basket. Touch the light bulb just above your head to toggle a great illuminating light on and off for night driving.
