ZK - Tribe Ankle Boot Mid Black Leather v2

I'm very disappointed. I didn't expect a jet black shoe, but the reflectivity of the shoe renders the top of the shoe a very light shiny gray, not even close to the dark shade of gray depicted in the photo. If I could turn off the shine, they might work. I won't wear these, and will put them in the trash.

When I first bought the boots I sent a notecard, as requested by the seller's profile, to ask the seller a question, but never heard back from them. When Maitreya ver 5.2 came out, I attempted to contact the seller again to ask if there were any plans to update the boots to work with the new resizable feet. Again, I was ignored.

Since the boots no longer fit as well as others on the market that have been updated, I'm knocking off one star, and then I'm knocking off another one for the complete lack of customer service. If the boots are ever updated I'll amend my review.

I had just purchased a black, Western outfit and wanted some black, Western-styled boots to go under my black chaps. I knew these "ankle boots" would fit under the legs of the chaps without poking through and I loved the "high-heeled" design of them. I purchased them and sadly, the color was not really black, as described, but more like a dark gray. (The photo IS accurate.) They just didn't work with my new outfit. :-( So, I took a chance and sent a note to the creator and asked for help with the color. WOW! The very next day I received from him a set of "mod" boots. I was able to get the "black" color exactly as I wanted AND still show off the design of the boots. I'm very pleased and happy! Kudos to the creator for understanding my needs and helping me. He even sent me a video to show me how to edit them properly! How cool is that? IF you want some great boots with awesome customer service, you would be foolish to look elsewhere. BRAVO!
