Possibly the easiest teleporter in Second Life.
To set up the system to teleport you between two destinations, rez a copy of the teleporter at each place. As soon as you have done that, anyone can teleport between the two destinations by simply left-clicking the teleporters.
You can even set up multiple pairs of teleporters without having to do any manual configuration. Rez two teleporters and they will pair up like described above. Rez another two teleporters, and they will pair up without interfering with the first pair. You can rez as many pairs of teleporters as you like.
The teleporters work between any two positions in the same sim, all the way up to 4096m. Like almost all teleporters in Second Life, they cannot move across sim boundaries or across parcel boundaries that forbid object entry.
The prim of the teleporter has modify permissions, allowing you to change its looks as you please. The script itself is for obvious reasons no-modify.
THIS IS A FULLY FUNCTIONAL DEMO VERSION. The only restriction is that it automatically deletes itself after five minutes.
You can try the teleporter in my shop Solo Systems.
See item in Second Life- Teleport between any two points in a sim
- Very easy to use
- No configuration required
Genius!
This is the easiest teleporter I have ever used. Not only well done, and cheap, but a fully functional demo on top of it all...Brilliantly done, mad props to Solo!
Great teleporter
Although not mentioned in the description, I discovered that you can even combine the normal, group, and owner versions of the teleporter to, for example, allow only yourself or group members to teleport to your skybox but allow everyone to teleport out of it.
