This Larsson "Zody" is my "bow" to the classic Zodiac RIB (rigid inflatable boat) and of course it features the most popular white color. I released Version 5.2 on June 10, 2022.

It's quite beautiful in white. But it is also super cool in black and orange. So Color Selection HUD gives you white, black or international orange hull colors, five colors for seats (black, orange, beige, olive, or yellow), and four colors for hull bumper stripe (black, blue, white or red).

RIBs are commonly 4 to 9 meters in length. This RIB is just over 6 meters in length and 3 meters wide giving this boat an appropriate mid-range scale in size. You can easily rescale it by touching Larsson oval logo on front of operator's stand for on-screen rescale menu.

You stand at controls in my original looped animation looking side to side, moving hands on wheel and touching the speed control at times. There are four seats for crew/survivors. Two seats are side by side on back seat. There is seat cushion in front of helm and fourth seat faces backward sitting on life preserver in bow. There is a fishing animation option for operator and seat cushion in front of operator. Operator and all passengers can adjust seats using AV Sitter.

Notice binoculars on control stand. Key "binoculars" in chat or /3 private chat and you begin my original animation where you reach for binoculars with left hand and raise them to eyes to scan horizon and then place them back. They disappear from control stand while you use and reappear as you place them down. Wear enclosed pair of binoculars (their visibility in your hand is controlled by my animation when you call for it).

A fishing pole is included. Or of course you can use any other fishing pole you have or fishing game you own. Fishing pole and binoculars can be rescaled in your hand by touching to get rescale menu.

Also in the bow is a small puppy enjoying fresh air. Touch to make puppy visible or invisible.

Nine speed outboard style engine lets you travel at speeds appropriate for this water craft. Speeds range from 3 up to full speed ahead at 21 knots. Reverse is set at 3 knots. Use on-screen jump up and crouch down arrows on your viewer or the page up and down keys on your keyboard to change the speeds. This is not a freight ship so there is no autopilot. There is an owner chat message telling you gear numbers as you change them. Steering has been tuned to reflect the action of a boat of this size.

You hear outboard motor start-up sound when operator sits at controls. Then engine start/idle sound begins. Engine underway sound is heard whenever you go forward or reverse. Engine sound ends when operator stands.

You can stop motor if you wish to quietly fish or relax somewhere. Key "stop" in chat or /3 private to stop and key "3start" to resume your voyage.

You can choose two views, a "standard view" 8 meters behind at angle of 30 degrees when you first sit and a "follower view" that gracefully follows alongside and then goes back behind as you turn. It is quite enjoyable to use. Select by saying name "standard view" or "follower view" in chat or /3 chat. This capability is also incredibly useful so you can quickly regain view control when SL is serving up those gitchy region borders!

There is both water spray from boat and also underwater turbulence from propeller of outboard motor. You will also notice bow wave sprays from both sides. Spray and turbulence turn on/off depending on movement of boat. Of course engine rotates very realistically as you turn in either forward or reverse.

Key a "w" in chat to sound a classic bosun's whistle you can use as a greeting or alert. Key "on" or "off" in chat to operate the blue warning flashing light on bow. These commands can also be made privately using channel 3 chat, For example "/3w" will call for the whistle.

Notice proper red and green navigation lights as well as a white stern light near back of outboard motor. Touch NAV light button on top of control stand to turn navigation lights on. Touch again to turn off.

There is an advanced lighting system spotlight at bow. Touch yellow button on control stand to turn lights on or off. Be sure you activate advanced lighting in your viewer graphics preferences to use this feature.

The land equivalent weight is 39 prims, and object physics have been adjusted appropriately. You can stand or walk anywhere inside boat, and it can easily carry operator and four passengers.

This vessel is complex and is sold as copy only. I am easy to reach and happy to respond if you need a special feature, so let me know if you need assistance. Let me know also if you have other ideas about cargo or other features, I am always happy to update my products with new features.

Thanks, best wishes and stay safe,

Lisle
