Elegant Home Suitable for Me
full star full star full star full star full star Posted July 26, 2019 by literarysweetheart

I am grateful to Mr. Anubis for building this grand and elegant home in which I can live as a single person without needing to rent a large parcel for it. It satisfies my fantasy of living in those elegant, estate homes I've seen in old movies and those British mini-series. I love the lines. Though it may look formal on the outside, the inside can be quite warm and cozy with the right decor. I've been told by visitors that I have made it look quite homey. I've received a couple of admiring comments on the house which I have passed onto Mr. A. In fact, a long time SL merchant claimed it was one of the best designed houses she has seen in SL, especially since it was easy to move around in it. I admit that it was tricky to work out the layout of the second floor for a bathroom and a bedroom, but I combined the bathroom into a dressing room as well. Walking right up into my bedroom surprised my friends, but they appreciated how logical that would be, considering the space. And it does make the house a bit quirky and unique. If you're as lucky as I am to live on a beautiful parcel, there are French doors in each room to provide lovely views and a lot of light. Plus, Mr. A was quite prompt in replying to questions and a minor issue I had with the chateau. I'm very happy I found such a house for less than 1000 lindens.

As you might suspect from the way the marketplace description is written, Barnesworth Anubis is a careful and painstaking craftsman. All the relevant information including footprint size. No hype -- he knows his buildings are first rate. And a very well made building. We are very much happy with our petit chateau.

It's a real plus that we could go to his in-world showplace, walk around, and get a feel for what we were buying.
