The shoes broke me!
TL;DR: We've all seen this common style of shoe a thousand times, but this one stands out with its awesome texturing options!
The story: I've made a reputation among my peers as always being the best dressed, and the key to my success is hoarding demos that I see potential in. I will hold onto a demo for as long as it inspires me (sometimes years) until I find that it perfectly fits an outfit I'm working on.
That being said, there are several rules I follow so that my demos don't get out of hand, and I don't recall breaking one in 13+ years. For example, I won't buy the same demo twice, which means I delete a lot of timed demos before I have a chance to work them into a look. Until now, I was fine with it, no matter how good the item was.
And then I put on the timed demo for these shoes .... And I was completely blown away with ALL THE PRETTY CHOICES!! The HUD, boasting both quality textures and a quantity of options, meant my demo was sure to time out before I could match them with an outfit ... And for the first time, I couldn't let go of a timed demo ...
So, did I break my rule and stock up on multiple demos, you ask?
... No! I'm a good girl! ... And that's a slippery slope.
Instead, I bypassed the rule entirely, grabbed the freakin' fatpack, and shoved it in my cart!! I don't care how long it takes - I WILL wear these shoes! If they don't fit into an outfit I'm already building, I'll build a new outfit around them!
If you enjoy pastels, ethereal looks, colour pops, patterns or even just basic matte, these are a must-have (the rainbow prism colour/pattern is my fav ... sooooo pretty!) Thank you, Creator, for providing textures so beautiful that it promotes self-manipulation. My acclaim will be unmatched in these shoes.
