Huge collection of the magical blue gem stone known as Lapis Lazuli in every rare color and hue of some of the most intense blues known to the stone. From the most sought after cobalt blue stones of Afghanistan to the more lesser known pale blues of Chile, it has held the world captive by it's color for centuries. Containing flecks of pyrite, or "Fool's Gold", this could be a stone straight out of the Arabian Nights. Much prized by the Egyptians for decorating and jewelry, it is often said to have holy or mystical qualities and has always been closely associated with friendship and truth.
Find here one very high resolution texture, one heart lapis on an alpha background and many circles, squares, rectangles and ovals of this incredible stone, most of which are of excellent resolution. Full perms on all and a numbered chart inside to help you identify the gem you want to use. Incredible value at only $500 for 58 textures. Now you can vary the stones within your jewelry for a more realistic, natural appearance.
The 2nd of my Single Stone/Gem/Jewel releases, this follows my popular Smoky Quartz Pack also found here on Slexchange.
From Lauren's Tiling Textures in Lotus and Ranunculus.
*If the textures in this box happen to be marked "Full Permissions", it means you can apply the textures to anything of your own creation and then sell it. You may not resell my textures alone, they have to be applied to an object.
I bought this item on 1/13/08 for L$500.
These are absolutely gorgeous. I do gemcutting in RL from time to time and these are some of the most beautiful examples of Lapis Lazuli I've seen. It's very nice that she includes some textures that aren't cabochon-shaped too. I used a couple of the latter to decorate some enormous columns I put together for a sort of temple that I'm building. They look so good contrasted with white marble. I make jewelry in RL and if I ever get around to doing it in SL I'm sure I'll be using these lapis textures. I also think the fox logo at the top left is totally cute.
Her textures are the very best for jewelry making! as always I give her the best reviews!!! Keep up the awesome work!
