New release "i,Light" (Lightning Bolt) is very realistic, random flashing system for Second Life®.
Those lightnings will fulfill all of your needs for your place.
You can copy and modify them.
This is a pack of 4 Lightning Bolts(with sound) - 4 Lightning Bolts(without sound) each a single prim sculptie shape.
You can change many things of Lightnings (color, size, glow, transparent) with Advanced color picker HUD driven.
Each prim sculptie shape can be resized to max .of 64m x 64m. With edit mode lightnings can rotate and position as you wish.
You can drag and drop unlimited number of panels on the ground.
"i,Light" (Lightning Bolt) can easily use with "i,Cloud" systems (for more info please look at "i,Cloud" from our product list) anywhere you want.

Amazing and realistic lightning.
I set up some of the lightning bolts coming down from thick layers of Foxcity pop fluff clouds to produce an amazing storm scene in the skies over my house and the mountains. It is also good that they can be tinted as lightning can be different colors in RL such as yellow, orange, white or blue depending on the conditions such as humidity and dust in the air. Also turned one on its side just into the cloud base to create a nice cloud to cloud flash effect.
Some ideas for improvement in a later release:
1) Include a way to change the volume of the thunder as it is a little soft.
2) Include a way to change the frequency of the lightning flashes.
3) Set up light in the prim features section to turn on at the same time as the lightning flash so that the ground and objects near it light up.
Overall, a great product and very happy with - thank you!
Disappointed with product quality
For a product at this price point, higher quality is expected. The lightning bolts are sculpties, not mesh. They use alpha blending instead of alpha masking. The lightning effect is only visible from one side, not all sides.

sounds effects are great and the extra ones included worked good for the setting i am working on keep up the good work!
