Thanks to the 2073 OECD infrastructure development leasing program, psiNaN is proud to announce that we are now fully authorized to deploy drone-fabricated modular byways in all class 4 development target zones!
The Byway kit is a modular sci-fi road construction kit with two skins (aged and new) each having 12 and 10 modular pieces, respectively. It's perfect for any cyberpunk/sci-fi build and goes well with the Strassentek and MeaderTek kits, as well as all of our urban filler building kits!

Really nice, has minor issues though.
I really like this set of roads, however, as I've been using it, I've noticed some minor issues with them. They don't all align or resize the same way, even when using snap to grid. Some of the mesh is also shaped slightly differently in the areas where the curb/sidewalk joins up, so it doesn't give a perfect fit between the different pieces. I've also noticed the materials (mostly the shine) are slightly different between some of the pieces, which obviously means light doesn't reflect off of them the same way. Something I would also like to see is having the road lines separated on a different face like how some of the corners and road ends do, having glowing road markings would add even more of a cyberpunk feel to the roads.
All the issues I listed are mostly minor though, I'd like to emphasize that. Only people like me who are very, VERY attentive to details will notice these things. I still very much enjoy using these roads, they're my favorite ones, I recommend them for any build that ranges from low cyberpunk to high futurism.
Cool stuff!
Not many road kids (or none?) have an elevation/sloped road included! So this gives a really nice smooth transition up hills and such.
The textures have some nice details on the hexagon tarmac, too. Two texture versions are neat, I prefer the cleaner one but yeah it's up to you which to use. Parkinglots are a neat addition I haven't seen in many either.
Li is pretty darn light for how good they look too. Totall recommend, longtime buyer of PsiNaN stuff.
