Once proteggted, an egg can't provide you with any information, except for some limited data about its race. It is not useful to another farmer that huts for an egg of a particular race or colour. Moreover, proteggted eggs won't tell when they are going to decay. Also, given that all proteggted eggs take 4 prims and that most market owners provide only a very small number of prims, you as a seller are limited on a number of eggs you can place in your market stall.

All these inconvinient limitations can be overcome by the OE Egg Boxer. Proteggted eggs can be placed into automatically created boxes that cary such vital data as:

- egg version,
- detailed egg race,
- egg given name,
- egg colour(s),
- glow parameter,
- egg laid date,
- egg proteggted date,
- egg boxed date,
- farmer's name,
- automatically updated time left before egg decay.

To box an egg:

1. Rez the Egg Boxer. Make sure it bears the same group as laid eggs.
2. Put some empty proteggtors into the boxer's content.
3. Place the boxer near an egg you want to proteggt and box.
4. Touch the boxer. You will be asked to choose a box which your proteggted egg will be placed into. A proteggtor will be rezzed.

OE Egg Boxer is packed with 3 types of modifyable boxes, all of which act in the same way:

* 1-prim black box (only its front side reflects the egg colours);
* 1-prim white box (all sides reflect the egg colours);
* 2-prim egg-shaped box (top and bottom prims reflect the egg colours, which reflect the appearance of a sionChicken egg).

5. Now touch the proteggtor to collect an nearby egg.
6. Once the egg is collected, a chosen box will be rezzed. Now it'll collect information from the proteggted egg.
7. Drag the proteggted egg into your inventory.
8. Open the rezzed box content and drag the proteggted egg from your inventory into it.
9. Set the box price. Make sure you set the ORIGINAL box for sale, not a copy or content.

At this point, you can place your egg box into your market stall or sell it any other way. Please remember that the egg box, once with an egg in it, is not copyable.

All egg boxes are modifyable, so you may change their size to suit your needs.

Once touched, the box will release vital information about the egg inside, both into the local chat and as a temporary floating text (it'll disappear in 20 seconds).

Please pay attention to the egg box name. It contains the egg's vital data, such as its version, abbreviated race, colour(s), glow and laid time and date in Unix format. These data can later be used by 1-prim OE Egg Vendor if you wish to put your egg boxes in it.
