Stopped working a year ago and still broken today
The TV just doesn't work. It quit working about a year ago when the login screen was just borked and it's been like that since, even if I get new versions out of the box.
Get this one!
It is super reliable It is well priced and worth every Linden well done on the creator Thank you for providing this for us! There are other options that are slightly cheaper or around the same price but if you are already looking at this one I can tell you for certainty out of my own experience that this one works lovely it's super responsive and not laggy at all! If it does lay at all it's most likely because of your own internet I remember running into some lag issues when I was trying to download something as well as watch something with somebody else and I was the one streaming. So as long as you're being smarter than I am you'll have a really good experience with this one! ❤️
GREAT TV!
Looked at reviews and one a friend had. This TV is super easy to use and set up, stream from your PC and share the screen is cake. Clear doesnt skip or drag, hardest part is getting your friends to do what they need to SEE it, which isnt that hard. Very good TV great for movie night with friends.
Finally a screen that works and keeps everyone synched
I've tried a number of screens in SL that claim to offer synced watching among all viewers. I found one that could but only with YouTube videos. Then I came across this. I was willing to take a chance. Once I got it set up using the way too skimpy instructions, it worked! I was able to share a synced video inworld from pretty much any source I might want including videos I had locally on my system. Most of this is thanks to the Kosmi web based sharing app. All this really does is take a feed from that, but that's enough. It's let my partner and I watch videos together in sync at reasonable quality. There are some caveats that aren't made clear in the listing:
You will need to set up an account on Kosmi. It's free.
You will need to use the Chrome browser when using Kosmi
You can share any Chrome tab including one running a video locally
As near as I can tell, the only video file format Chrome will play is MP4. Once I realized this, I installed Handbrake to convert files in other formats to MP4.
sos so
f you have kosmi might be ok just another subsciiption if you dont yhink time to give it up on tv in sl
Exactly what I was looking for
I am incredibly impressed. After a certain brand of tv went up in a blaze of unglory, I needed a new tv that supported kosmi. This is very well done and incredibly simple to set up. I recommend it highly for anyone needing a tv to stream things for friends.
