look nice, but lack of accurate physics limits use
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted August 08, 2016 by Tabris Engel

Visually these rocks are nice, but they can only be used as decoration (mebbe something off-sim) since the physics they come with are way off. At default size they can't be walked up against or stood on except in a specific spot deep inside, and this effect is more noticeable when they're scaled up.

I tried to check out a demo at the in-world store, but the vendor said a demo is unavailable (which is also the case for other rock sets).

They're not bad, and they're certainly fairly priced, and I can probably still find a use for them. But the effective lack of physics is disappointing as most of the landscaping I do is intended to be interacted with.

It's awkwardly difficult to find nice mesh rocks and boulders that also have accurate physics.
