Animated Ducks – menu driven setup

New New: Now includes 8 prim versions of each type as well as the single sculptured prim version. So you have your choice between low prim usage sculptured prims that are easy on your SL land, or the faster loading 8 prim versions that load faster for your customers but take up more prims.

Four ducks - each different texture but same shape - but copy as much of either as you wish. No transfer. Two ducks are colored as a male and female mallard duck and two are colored with more simple texturing to simulate feathers.

This animated duck was the result of much effort by us in great menu script and sculptured prim usage to deliver what we think is a great low prim (single prim per duck) low price solution. Unlike some ducks or fish we have seen that are really just pictures – and therefore the duck disappears when it turns sideways, these ducks are done in custom sculptured prims that we do ourselves. Therefore when they turn sideways, there is still a duck visible. Then we add a complex texture to simulate feathers.

We also added copy. One thing that annoyed us in the past on some duck or fish sales was not only that they were pictures but that one had to pay for every duck. Not in this case. Each duck style allows copy – so copy as many as you wish. We also provide four styles - the difference being texture, but instructions inside tell you how to modify the size. And you if desired, may also wish to modify color for even more variety.

Instructions inside tell you, the owner, on how to use the menu driven setup. This setup allows a great number of x distances that the ducks can roam in and y distances. We do not allow z distances. You also have five choices of speed. When done, position the duck in the center of the area you wish, save this center position using one button press of the menu, and when ready, press start. The ducks do move in spurts, rather than constant motion, in order not to tie up your sim more than necessary.
