Traditional Outrigger Canoes, wooden canoes featuring lateral support floats that can make use of a sail or be driven by paddles, were first developed in southeast Asia, spreading throughout isles in the Pacific and Indian oceans.
The Outrigger Canoe will animate up to two rowers as idle and breathing when the boat is still, and as rowing alternatively on both sides of the canoe, kneeling in the hull, as the boat sails swiftly on SL water.
While up to two AV can animate as rowers, only the owner can use the directional keys to move the boat.
Three versions of the Outrigger Canoe are included:
The Captive version features a captive animation for an additional third AV, and comes in a low-prim variant or decorated with tropical fruit baskets.
The Fishing version features two different fishing animations for additional third and fourth AVs, and is decorated with fish and a fishing net with glass floats.

The Fishing version gives wearable fishing rods when touched. Both versions give wearable paddles.

Lovely boat, but does not sail
This is a rather expensive non-sailing boat with a sail. I was looking for an outrigger that I could both row and sail. This boat is lovely, the land impact it great, given the details and excellent textures. The creator is an artist. BUT, despite the first sentence in the description "Traditional Outrigger Canoes, wooden canoes featuring lateral support floats that can make use of a sail or be driven by paddles...". The first feature listed is "Sails on SL Water" this boat does not move under sail, it only rows.

This is an excellent product for roleplay purposes! I needed a canoe for my characters to sail from their ship to the docks, but here I've found something extremely good and above my expectations.
I received three versions of this canoe ; Captive I, Captive II and Fishing. I'm amazed by how many features are offered with that canoe as I wasn't looking for so much options. You can sail onto the SL seas with one or two captured fellows and that's without forgetting to say that you can also fish from it.
When you click onto the canoe side, you receive a paddle into your inventory and when clicking onto its other side then it's a fishing pole. Everything is fine to me, it looks alright and I have lots of fun with it. Not to speak of the nice animation too when you're rowing.
I can be very clumsy and silly at times, so I can tell how easy it is to use. As you simply have to rezz it onto the water and then sit there. So aye, I'm totally satisfied 'bout my purchase. :p
