In this marketplace listing, you 'll find the latest, updated version, of "Ocean Foam" that you probably saw live in SIMs inworld.
What's new & Important notes:
- Waves are now modify, can scale up to to 64x64 (NOT recommended to make that large) and have a land impact of just 1 prim each. No matter hw big the size, land impact is always just 1.
- Offsim waves (now ADDED in the pack), are 2 prims each, modify, default size is large, recommended to keep large.
- NEW scripts, new menu, full of preset options!
- ECO wave, ZERO lag: Script-free option!
-Please note: Splashing water SPRAY effect and rocks show in illustration, are not included in this (look for "real splash" in our store for the spray).
- UPDATE: Textures were added, the original classic texture was updated (digitally enhanced)
All visual aspects including wave size, texture options, flow speed etc, are easily controlled by a sophisticated low lag menu script. For those who care about reducing lag, there is ECO scriptless option for ZERO lag, AND a fail-safe option with minimal (basic functions only) script, using just 0.001% CPU! (INCLUDED, please read help notecard).
Offsim wave models included in this product, by default have this minimal script.
You can delete all scripts completely at anytime, wave animations will continue running, without a script.
PERMISSIONS: All objects (prims) ARE modify and copy. Scripts contained are no-modify

wow ... just made myself quit clicking long enough to check back in and say ...its lovely, looks so real and i love it !! and .... *blond tilt and hair flip*.... the menu is so easy ...*beams*.... i figured it out all by myself ...

I love my old waves- so it stands to reason that the new version will be loved as well. We can all do with less lag ;-)
And if you happen to be wandering I suggest a stop to the Real Waves SIM/Store even if just to sit and watch the waves and relax.

Ahhhggrh me hearties you've done it again Antreas. You Excel! These Foaming swirling beauties are alive!, Beautiful as is, clearly textured and seamlessly melding into adjoining waves, and this would be enough, yet, there's also a comprehensive user friendly menu with choices of visual effects, hues, brightness, movement intensity, which captures moods ranging from the subtle and sunny to the wild and agitated, I'm more than just pleased, I am again in love with the ocean. A Wonderful Real addition to the seascape on any Sim. Thank you.

The best looking waves in SL
These are by far the best looking and most realistic waves in SL. The fact that they are only one prim and also have such quality texturing makes them even better. It is also very nice that they are copy/mod, you can make as many copies as you like and mod them to fit anywhere on your island.
