Vitruvian Shapes are for discerning SL users who are looking for both an attractive shape as well as a more reasonably sized avatar to get the most out of their SL experience.
All Vitruvian Shapes are marked with their correct SL height, so they may be smaller than you are used to as most SL avatars are around 7-8' tall.
They are also rigorously checked for proper body proportions, making them among the most anatomically correct avatar shapes in SL. They are also available in a number of body types, providing the perfect starting point for anyone wishing to easily create a more attractive shape.
These are not skins, these are shapes.
Check out the additional screenshots to see Vitruvian Shapes used in SL avatars, plus a comparison with the SL starter shapes.

Absolutely love these
It's been a while since I got these, and I am STILL using them to this day as the base for my avi. They're easy to tweak, and it's easy to just copy the values to any mesh head shape.
Highly recommended, and they're fullperm and free. What else could you wish for?
Perfection
I luv this. I suggest this to newbs all the time. Whenever I use a new mesh body, I use this as a base before I make any adjustments. Wonderful work, and ty for making it free. I hope these shapes are used by the community for years to come!
Perfect
The best set for persons who want to use classic avatars and look not ugly in body proportions sense!
Simply the best avatar bases out there
This should totally be part of the default library, the best human shapes to start your avatar from.
not bad. ESPECIALLY not for a FREE one!
first of all: you don't get the pecks/muscles. then you need a skin. you "only" so to speak, get the SHAPE! so you can look wider over the shoulders, and have an hourglass figure, and give you a REALISTIC height! now to the review: it's pretty good. and the fact that it's FREE, made me think it might be a virus or something that were gonna mess up my avatar/SL account, or steal all my L$, but no! (at least not YET. XD) it's always weird to see the "normal" human size, at least for ME, but anyways. what you get, is the shape. not the muscles, or the skins, just the shape. but it's FREE, so you don't LOSE anything! but i DO think that they shouldn't show something you DON'T get, like the muscles and the different skin colors, but that's just me. all in all, a good product, even though they do false advertizing. but it seems MOST sellers do that to some extent. which is why it's important to read the description and stuff. so.. if you want a realistic shape, but don't wanna or CAN'T do it yourself, then buy this. it's FREE, and it's EASY to use. just lace the "box" on the ground and do what you usually do, then chose what shape you want. just don't expect to look like the ones on the picture, cause, unless you got the EXACT same avatar, you wont.
Well worth getting!
Mainly my avatar is female. But that's because most of the male shapes I've seen have been...how should I say it...um. To much like Rambo on steroids. But these are amazing I finally have my first male outfit that looks good :D so thank you!
