This is a RIDEABLE REZ vehicle; you must REZ it out in a REZ zone or land for which you have perms, and it supports passengers. How many passengers? I do not know. They can sit virtually anywhere they can find a spot but I've found passengers are most comfortable sitting up on the rim.
This car is part of our Wingsong RIDE LITE series. These vehicles are distinguished from our ACS/KCP based vehicles (which are identified as a RIDE with a version number at the end - example: RIDE V3). The RIDE LITE system has fewer bells and whistles but tend to handle lag more efficiently because they are streamlined.
There are LOADS of cars on the market. Why another one? Because the Wingsong Tub Car RIDE LITE is a HOOT to drive, and so full of fun features you may never want to drive another vehicle. Yeah. It is THAT good!
Because of the finely tuned gear system, steering column, and cruise control, the Tubby (as we at the dojo like to call it) is one of the easiest cars to drive. But don't confuse ease with low power. It has 6 gears, beginning with a humble 3 mps and moving incrementally up to 50 mps. So you can keep her steady no matter what terrain you find yourself in.
Although the tub car is COPY/MOD and easy to adjust using your Edit tool, we're including two presized versions in this package: medium and tall.
Low lag scripting helps you weather the atmosphere. We've toured all over the place in this car and we only one time got snapped out of our seat; and that was from ban lines that popped up out of NO where when we were careening down a grassy knoll, the wind in our prim hair, screaming at the top of our lungs and having pure joy!
So - whether you want to drive along the highways or byways, mountain trails, rail road tracks, or the floor of the ocean, this is one exceptional vehicle!
HOW TO USE and FEATURES
1 - As the owner of the car you are the only one who gets to drive. To start your tubby RIGHT CLICK on a wheel and select Drive. Your passengers may right click and select Drive after you are in the tubby and they will sit where they point their mouse.
2 - Embedded with an original Wingsong animation for the driver. The passengers use their default sit animation.
3 - Turn off other Animation Overrides.
4 - REZ your vehicle at a REZ zone or other land that you have REZ perms.
5 - Right Click on one of your wheels and select DRIVE.
6 - Move using your arrow keys. To stop tap your DOWN ARROW key.
7 - To activate your cruise control press both your RIGHT ARROW and LEFT ARROW keys at the same time. To turn your cruise control back off press them again.
8 - To shift gears up (go faster) press your PAGE UP key. To shift back down press your PAGE DOWN key.
9 - Your wheels turn as you move. Your front tires pivot as you turn right or left.
10 - Other folks can hitch a ride by Right Clicking anywhere on the car and selecting DRIVE. They won't "drive" but they will sit where they point, using their default AO. I recommend they sit on the rim.
11 - Click on the license plate for a menu of 9 preinstalled vehicular sounds (horns and such). Add your own sounds from your inventory to the CONTENT TAB of the license plate prim (total of 22 sounds); the script will automatically update for you.
12 - Click in the space just ahead of your car to turn on the lights - great for night driving! Your car also has a subtle amber light that you can turn on and off by touching the the axles, or the rim of the car.
13 - Your car emits an exhaust when you drive; click on the exhaust pipe to turn this on or off.
14 - Althought your car is COPY/MOD, we've installed a handy onboard color changer for the main body of your car. Click on the side of the car for a menu of 88 colors.
