What is it?
====================

The Z&A Avi-Look HUD is a simple tool that lets you inspect various things (such as height, script impact, render weight and attachments) about avatars around you.

How do I use it?
====================

First you should wear it. It will appear on your screen as a regular HUD. By default it is set to attach to the 'bottom left' HUD position. If, when you first attach it, you can't see it, be sure to check behind any open viewer windows. If you still can't see it it might be that it's outside of your viewer's view. If that's the case try following the instructions you'll find in this video: http://vimeo.com/4168870

Once the HUD is on screen you need only click on it. You'll then be given a menu of up to 50 avatar names (including your own). Select the avatar whose information you'd like to check. From there select the information you'd like to see -- it will be displayed in your local chat (note that only you can see the text).

By default the avatars in the list are ordered by distance from you. If you'd like to change the ordering simply click the smaller box to the bottom right of the HUD (the one with tools shown on it) -- there you can select how you'd like to sort the main avatar list.

Target mode
====================

In the top right corner of the HUD is a target button. This is best used if in alt-camming mode or fly-cam mode (hopefully very handy for fellow SpaceNav users!). While it can be a little hit and miss (thanks to AOs that make avatars wander, seating offsets, etc), the idea is that you cam close to an avatar you're interested in, getting them near the middle of your screen, and then press the target button and you'll get a menu for them.

Simple & Useful

When I see another avatar wearing something interesting, sometimes I can't right-click on what they wear (something invisible covers it, or hidden behind say a hat or a helmet). This allows me to quickly see what the item they are wearing :-)
