To create a tree with this textures just create a box, resize as you want (for example 1,0.1,1.4 for x, y and z) and use the texture.
Create a more realistic tree, changing the border textures selecting "select texture" in your texture menu.

Should be worth the price
I've seen better tree textures than these. There is considerable "bleedthrough" which means standard trees made with these textures don't look very good at close range and all the trees are slightly tilted so you need to adjust the different sheets to get it to look right.
But to be fair, I've seen worse, even on fairly expensive ready made trees and at only 5L$, yes, this package is definitely worth the money. When you make a whle forest like I'm doing at Coniston, you want a bit of variety rather than use the same texture over and over again and in that context, these are wonderful.
