There are a rezzers on the market that allows you to select a single scene from a configured list of scenes. This rezzer was designed with photography and shows in mind, where individual groups of objects need to be independently shown/hidden. Imagine you have a clump of trees, some grass, and a cabin. Hide the cabin but keep the trees. Hide the trees but keep the grass. So many options.
Create one or more objects (they do not need to be linked) that form a prop or scene. Drop a script (and optional configuration notecards) into each object / linkset root. Drop the objects into the rezzer container and create a configuration notecard.
The configuration notecard can list props (groups of objects that need to be rezzed together to form a photography prop or scene); and can also create sub-menus to organize those props/scenes.
Each "prop" can be toggled (rezzed or deleted) independently of any other prop. Objects can be shared between props allowing more interesting setups. Or all objects can be deleted (packed) to allow the rezzer to be moved. If the rezzer is moved, then the props are rezzed relative to new location.
Objects are normally tracked so that if it is moved, the new position is remembered. However tracking can be controlled. For example, if props are linked to movers for a show, then drop in a provided notecard to stop movement tracking.
Positions can be saved, and the positions reset to saved settings, or copied to another rezzer.
Debugging capabilities are added in to help diagnose any problems.
Note that like other rezzers, the rezzable objects must be copyable (new copies are rezzed) and the root object of a link set must be modifiable enough to drop in a script.
