This is a sculpted minoan vase featuring a squid motif. The quid was one of the most common and most recognizable motifs of minoan ceramics.
This is a 1 prim sculpted vase that will be perfect for historical roleplayers, but also be a great addition to those who wish to adorn their house or skybox with a pinch of minoan elegance.
The basic texture used for the underlying ceramic was modified from a free texture provided by P.Hoelsy, to whom I wish to offer my sincere thanks.
The minoans were a high ancient bronze age culture that developped on the island of Crete. Their civilization (the first truely advanced european urban civilization) grew in the 3rd millennium BC and lasted until around the early 14th century BCE. The minoans were well known for their high artistic skills, including realistic portrayal of humans and animals.
