Description:
This teleporter is one most easily configurable teleporters available, while it keeps a reliable performance.
It is based on a well know opensource freebie, but with **several important modifications** from the original:
-There are no hover texts floating while it is in operation.
-The minimum distance of 10m between teleporters has been removed so there are no communication interferences between pads.
-It teleports you to anywhere in the sim instantly, using the new cool LL function: llSetRegionPos. (The former "warpos" algorithm, doesn't work well anymore since new LL sims don't allow prims to travel through banned parcels. If your trajectory crosses a banned parcel, now you don't get stopped anymore!).
-The overload of simulator resources has been reduced to minimum necessary: the network only updates itself when is told by user, and after a new bean is rezzed. However, in order to keep
the nice 'StarTrek' fashion ("Scotty: ¡Energize!"), the system has to reload every time a beam is rezzed. (For a better performance you may look my teleporter V2 that has even
less simulator load!).
-Pads will only talk with each other if they belong to the same owner and are in the same sim.
-Beams will update their data if the pads are moved/rotated/renamed or when the user select a different private setting.
-The network is aware of pad's rotations. After teleport, the avatar will be oriented according to the destination pad's rotation.
Summary of features:
-It doesn't need any special configuration for using in basic mode. Anyway, for privacy features, the owner has access to an options menu by clicking the pad.
-Simple use: you only need to rezz it, rename each pad to get the network ready to use. If you only rezz 2 teleporters, then the teleportation sequence is automatic. If you have 3 or more, the telporter will prompt the user a menu where you can select your desired destination (based on private settings).
-You can fully modify the prims (shape, color, transparency, etc):
-Custom animations: you can edit the beam inside the pad and use your own animations: Just have them renamed to 'standing' and 'teleporting' :D
-Rotation aware: simply edit the pad to the desired rotation and your avatar will be oriented accordingly every time you choose that destination :):)
-Future updates without extra charge
Next features:
-Intersim and multipleowner teleporting are planned in new releases. Please check my other products in near future.
-Posibility to add your own particles by adding your script (plug-in mode).
Quick start instructions:
Rezz it on the ground. Right-click the pad to move, rename and set it to a group if needed. The pad will automatically synchronized with other pads as they rezz. Every time you change its postion, rotation, name or private settings, the network will be auto-reloaded in few seconds.
After you rezz all the other teleporters in the zone, you may click one of them to get the service menu each pad's privacy settings. (i.e. Who can teleport in or out from a certain pad).
On that menu you will also find a 'Reload' button, in the case you want to manually synchronize all your pads. During that process the pad color will change. When you see the pad's upper face brights again, the teleporter system is ready to use.
Now click the teleporter beam to sit, then select an entry from the menu to be instantly teleported to other destinations.
Limitations:
-Only the first 24 characters from pad name will be used, since SL limits llDialog buttons to 24 chars. You can name it as you long as you like but, it is recommendable to keep names short in order to be displayed properly on the short menues buttons that SL gives :)

I have been looking for the perfect teleporter for a scene rezzer forever and this is absolutely the closest that I have come. The main issue I have is that the teleporter rezzes another little prim, I assume the one that carries you to the other teleporter pad. The issue I have is that If you pick up the teleporter than the other little blue piece is left behind meaning you have to go back and delete it so in a scene rezzer this will just leave a lot of little prims lying around. I'm also not crazy about the lay out of the menu. I think if all the locations were on one page that would be better and the "ENERGIZE!" Button would suffice to be a simple 'Teleport' haha. Otherwise, really close to perfect.
