While the axe is built to work with some scripted zombies, it is primarily designed for use against avatars.

The name "Zombie Hunter's Axe" is intended only to describe the theme of the item, and is not meant to imply its use or effectiveness against scripted zombie objects.

OVERVIEW:

Sometimes the simplest methods are the most effective. You don't need those fancy guns with their complicated moving parts when a swift blow to the noggin with your trusty axe is equally effective. Plus let's see you try to break down a door with that handgun. Or chop firewood with an assault rifle. Yeah, that's what I thought. Not such a wise investment after all, was it?

CONTROLS

Weapon uses standard mouselook controls with arrow keys. Left mouse button to attack. Strafing left and right while attacking activates the left pivot and right hook attacks, respectively.

COMMANDS
(Chat commands work on channels 0, 33, and 69, and can also be accessed via menu by touching the axe)

Menu – brings up the weapon menu
Unsafe – unholsters the weapon
Safe – holsters the weapon
Colors - opens the color menu

NOTES
The color-changing scripts require the object's linkage to remain the same. Unlinking the object, or linking it with other objects may cause the coloring script to stop working.
