It is HUD to make a sense of reality of the plane.
This works alone. You can use this on most airplanes.
But this is a small tool of the making of atmosphere. Please think the indication is just a guide.

This HUD is amazing for flying in SL. It is a true Heads Up Display allowing the pilot to do what he needs to be doing, Flying the plane and/or Helo. Perfect HUD for any Aviation Buff!!

don't know why I haven't done a review of this before now. Basically, this is the hud I use when flying any aircraft. I know it's military style, but unlike a lot of aircraft huds, this doesn't block a large section of my screen. It's responsive and having the attitude and actual path indicators separate is incredibly useful. It offers both metric and imperial measurement units. The color can be changed and the heading tape placed at either the top or bottom.
The only minor issue is it would be nice if one could make the altitude metric and the speed in knots but given how well done everything else works, that's hardly much of an issue.

The hud can now connect with the plane and work in mouselook flying. It works well in the flights I've done using it that way.
