Attach both the notepad (left hand) and the pen (right hand), and with a simple touch, you’ll be greeted by a modest menu of handwritten intent:
Writing – A timeless emote conveying your focused note-taking
Detailed – Enter a subject and the script replies with care and specificity
Draw – A charming set of lines to suggest artistic sketching or idling with pen in hand
Schedule – Adds a sense of order, as you jot down plans and appointments
The pen animates in your right hand, then vanishes discreetly after each use. A companion HUD is included, allowing you to summon or stow the notepad at will — no need to rummage through folders again. Simply wear it once, and keep it ready at your side for any occasion.

As a bonus, you shall also receive the Deskpad, a rezzable version fit for any fine counter, desk, or reception table. When touched, the deskpad offers further functions suitable for public display or clerical duty: Highlight, Sign, Stamp, and Reservation.

Above and beyond with the notepad for roleplay
So I got this to roleplay my military character in a fantasy sim and a waitress in modern / space sims. V2 did everything I wanted but the name so I talked with the creator. Within a few hours he had a V3 for me to test where you can set up the emotes to be on or off, the name now and the sounds. This makes it great specially for rp scenes if you don't want to flood the chat and the name setting lets you set whatever name you want and replaces the old /me.
This product is by far up there with the must haves on my roleplaying characters.

One rarely anticipates that such refinement will become the catalyst for a full-blown staff mutiny.
The Interactive Notepad & Pen arrived, and with it, a new era of record-keeping. Gone are the days of my hostesses frantically miming the writing of a phone number on their palms—a gesture I always found more suggestive of a gambling debt than a reservation. This set is a masterpiece of understated functionality. The weight of the pen in the hand is satisfying, the scratch-scratch of its sound is a tiny symphony of purpose, and the HUD is a revelation. The detailed replies are a particular delight; documenting a guest's preference for "unblemished caviar" has never felt so profoundly official.
However, every paradise has its serpent.
Its perfection has exposed a fatal flaw in my personnel. The charmingly specific menu—Writing, Detailed, Draw, Schedule—requires, God forbid, the ability to read. This has proven an insurmountable hurdle for our former paragon, Elizabeth. Her reign as Employee of the Month has crumbled. I found her yesterday attempting to use the pen to unclog a champagne flute, utterly bewildered by the "Draw" command.
The title has now been seized by Sharon, a feisty brunette from the night shift. She wields the notepad like a field marshal. The detailed report she filed on Elizabeth’s flute-clogging incident was a thing of terrifying, bureaucratic beauty.
This product receives my highest recommendation for its flawless animation, superb sound design, and transformative power, but be warned: it is not a mere accessory. It is a litmus test. It will separate the civilized from the savages in your employ. It will crown a new, terrifyingly efficient Sharon in your midst.
And for that clarity alone, it is worth every Linden.
P.S. The included Deskpad is currently being used as a peace offering/placemat for Elizabeth’s lunch, which seems to be the limit of her interactive capabilities. A noble purpose, still.

Just bought this and it was perfect for my outfit and I love that you just have to click on it to interact with it so that there isn't another hud on your screen! Definitely recommended!
cool and great for roleplay and funny moments
the pen and pad look realistic and the poses are good (holding)
it has a cool writing animation and a nice notification for everyone to see in local chat.
its really cool to pull out of your pockets and it adds to your roleplay or if you wanna be funny.
the option to type in specificly what you want is neat.
the new additions are also nice but i dont have that much use for most of them till now..
but the new hide/show option is awesome. the hud is really small on the side and helpful.

This is a convenient and ideal pen & notepad for a broad amount of RP scenarios. I had a small issue that the creator swiftly patched before re-uploading the fixed version to MP so no one else would worry about it. I like the "detailed" option in the notepad menu that tells people in nearby what's you've jotted down after you type a brief summary of the note in a popup text box. 5/5 stars!!
