* The mesh model can be easily made in the in-world.
* All shapes and parameters are supported. (Include sculpted prim)
* The texture repeats and offset and rotation setting of prim are reproducible as it is.
* In order to save land impact, the sides and prims which do not generate mesh data can be set up.
* In order to save land impact, the division number of a curve can be changed.
* Existing prim objects can be converted into mesh model easily.

■ How to use

Rez *NN* Mesh Generator.

Touch icon of blocks to rez the block. Put blocks within 100m of the same sim.

Touch GENERATE icon to generate the MESH data.
When generation finish, browser is opened. Save the mesh data file as .dae.

The division number of a curved part and vertex number of sculpt map can be changed.
Please choose in consideration of the balance of land impact and a quality.

When you turn on mirror icon, mirrored mesh data will be outputted.

In order to use two or more textures, use different "Texture" or "Color" for every side.
In Second Life, a mesh model have to be less than 8 sides.
When you use 9 sides or more, it generates linked mesh model.

In order to save land impact, the sides and prims which do not generate mesh data can be set up.
Use the texture '*NN* MG Transparent' or set transparency to 80% or more.

In order to convert existing prim into mesh model, put '*NN* MG Prim2Mesh Script' into root prim.
When the prim is not full permission, the script can not get the texture.
In order to use two or more textures, use different color for every side.

Usually, all the blocks in less than 100 m are generated.
However, if you touch a block, only the linked block is converted into a mesh independently.
It needs to rez *NN* Mesh Generator.

Touch DEL icon to delete all blocks.

I'm sold, yah bay-bay!!

Sharing, in case it helps:

* My 10 stars from this pricey purchase today are based/contingent upon both the great functionality I have experienced to this point (day 1) with this tool, and that I willingly chose to take a risk and pay slightly more here at MP for it because at investment I see the seller has graciously built this ad/item at MP to continue to be redeliverable through the new SL MP redelivery option. Highly important to me. That I chose to pay several hundred lindens more at MP specifically to get SL-managed redelivery "just in case inventory fails me" means a great deal to me. Were the seller to take action at MP to stop the "redelivery" option on this item for customers, this would change my opinion substantially. I would not have invested in this had that option not been available (controlled by SL instantly, without requiring and relying upon my connecting with a seller directly via IM/NC or taking a chance on an inworld redelivery system even).

Worked as advertised, I didn't crack open a book, the upload window in SL I hardly touched, within less than 3 minutes my first two items I made 13 prims down to 1 li, and 15 prims down to 1 li.

Very happy today, with thanks to seller *hugs*

It is good but fell short of my expectations.. Objects I created turned phantom except for the stairs.This is still a very complicated subject matter for me. Turning a whole lot of prims into one mesh object is not that completely easy. Encountered some obstacles. It still needs a lot of tweaking.

A bit pricey, yes... but this is by far the best money I have ever spent in SL. Works like a charm and is very easy once you read up a little on how mesh objects work. I have saved a TON of land impact by recreating my existing builds in mesh. Highly recommended!!

No matter what I mesh, big or small, I have more prims than usual. So the generator brings me nothing at all !!

Keeps generating faulty mesh

I'm honestly very disappointed with this one. I've used the prim generator for years and it worked well. The mesh generator keeps creating malformed mesh, which fails to import into SL. The error is always "MAV_FOUND_DEGENERATE_TRIANGLES". Even when the build is very simple, out of pure boxes and perfectly aligned, the mesh is ruined.
