The Northern Operations Parcel Survey Theodolite HUD

This precision designed instrument is a must for anyone who buys land in Second-Life and/or wishes to survey and section a larger parcel into smaller parcels. You do not need rezz rights to use this theodolite, as long as permission to access the land has not been denied.

The Theodolite has 2 main modes of operation:
1) 'Set Point and Calculate'. Stand at a corner of the parcel, press "Set Point", then walk to the opposite diagonal parcel corner and press "Calculate". The instrument will display in local chat the distance between the two points in both X and Y, elevation change as (Z), as well as approx square meters. 'Set and Calculate' Mode is especially useful for calculating parcel size when buying a section of large misshapen abandoned land.

2) 'Parcel Detail' mode displays parcel information including name, description, parcel group, size in square meters, and who owns the land if not group owned.
