NOTICE, Casper said I was too Big!
THE ISSUE: Early last year, I exceeded the total number of items that the Casper vending system could handle, and it locked up on me. Casper, now owned by Linden Labs, still operates from London independently at the domain Gallifrey. Where’s the Doctor when you need him? It took a week, but I got a bit more. Not a nibble or byte, just a bit. Nevertheless, the Midsummer night dream was not kind to this Satyr. Casper indicated that the volume of products was the cause of lag and issues I was experiencing.
IN THE INTERUM:
I’ve been redoing my vending modus operandi, and some things will be in error for a bit as I rip things out and stuff them elsewhere in Narnia. I’ll try to catch those errors from Casper as I can, but if I don’t, just send me a message or notecard with what you were trying to purchase. There are online status boards with my photo that you can click to send me a message when I’m online or drop a notecard into it for delivery when I’m back online. You can find these at my remote stores and my mainland SOHO in Milda.
MY SOLUTION MOVING FORWARD IN REVERSE:
I’m moving all the texture only products to non-server independent BBI Texture Vendors at my inworld site at the 4-regions of Milda, Malyshkin, Muhongo and Vyacheslav. These vendors sell textures individually and I’ve marked them at $1 each for now. Packaged groups of textures will still be sold via the Casper vendors. Also, object products, such as framed artwork, rugs, decorum, etc. will be available via Casper vendors.
That bird is overstuffed!
Second Life Buy Option
Artwork and other items on display at remote stores and onsite at my mainland locations will be available for purchase via the Second Life buy option. Look for the “Click Here to Buy This Item Above” box. located below the item or on the floor. I’ll be working on both SL and RL goods at the same time when I’m awake, online and functional.- Policies
There are free demos for most everything. Use the Holovend displays as well as some other ways to view and test clothing and objects before buying. I’ll get a catalog out when I get to a happy pausing spot. There's no refunds in SL. So, definitely use the demo. A TOS and License(s) are included with purchase that are transferable or downloadable.
