*New in version 1.1: As of version 1.1, you will find another box inside the A-10C's retail box, named "A-10C Attachable Model (Boxed)". In this box you will find an object called "A-10C (Attachable)" and a copy of the HUD. This version is intended to work around issues related to sim crossings and multiple mesh models and for those who wish to simply fly and cruise around, and for those wishing to fly in areas in which high land impact vehicles are unwelcome.

- Low memory use, low script time, no lag
- Highly advanced flight model
Can't see the point in the high price...
Only that it is high prim and quite unstable.hard to manuever with sadly. Wish it was less sensetive and more fun to fly. easily slides really odd and really bad at ground level. otherwise an ok plane.Wish the bullets wasn't big paintballs. and the warning noise is really hurting my ears when i have my headset on really loud and annoying. Not worth 6k. Perhaps 3,5k would be more fair...
The most realistic plane in Second Life
I've always been an enthusiast of flight sims, and the A-10C warthog has always been of my favourite planes. I was really excited when I heard that the Omega Concern had come out with one.
The price seemed a little high at first, but I know TOC's quality. I bought one.
Worth. Every. Linden.
Verdict? From the model to the scripts, I've never seen anything like it. This plane exceeded all my expectations, putting itself on a new level even when compared to the quality I was used to seeing from April's work.
A word of warning to anyone considering this plane: It's realistic. I know that's hard to imagine in Second Life, but this is actually a realistic plane, and surprisingly, it's actually fun to fly, even in a single sim! As far as I can tell by flying it, it simulates lift and drag realistically, even stalling if it loses too much speed in flight or in a turn. Altitude is your friend, because you have a better chance of recovering from a stall smoothly if you've got time to gain speed and pull your nose back up.
You can set trim to keep flying level, and it has several autopilot modes if you want to cruise, which is always good in a plane like this. If you're a fan of a flight simulations, you can't let yourself miss this thing. The HUD is beautiful, and April obviously studied the A-10 carefully - The symbology for weapons and the CCIP is dead on.
It even has an ordnance/fuel weight mechanic! If you pick very heavy weapons, you'll have a more difficult time getting into the air and maneuvering, but you can offset it by carrying less fuel. Oh, yeah. Selectable loadouts.
I'm going to recommend this plane even to people who aren't used to flying. You're not going to find anything this good anywhere else in Second Life, and you shouldn't pass it up. There's a good hard learning curve, but once you master it, you'll feel amazing. And this thing turns heads wherever you take it.
Running out of space here.
Just buy it. You'll love it.
