Notecard storage
• Stores unlimited notecards in searchable format
• Just add your notecards and type part of the name to output the text contents in chat or deliver notecard

Notecard delivery
• Delivers a selected notecard directly to another avatar.

Note recorder
• Record memos and notes directly into text box
• Replays memos on demand with date of entry
• Use for making notes, recording info on the go.

-2- HOW TO USE
________________________________________________

• Just drop in any notecards by dragging onto HUD icon.
• You can then search by any part of the notecard name to retrieve.
• If possible, Fast Notes will say the contents of notecard in chat, or else it will give you the notecard.
• You can also choose a notecard to deliver to another avatar automatically.

• Record short notes with the Memo "Write" function and say them back with "Read".

NOTECARDS
To add notecards, just drag them onto the HUD icon. Add as many as you want at a time, just give the script a moment to catalogue them.

Use the buttons "Search" or "Choose" to find stored notecards.
• Search - will find and list any notecards with your search term anywhere in the title.
• Choose - will list all notecards. Type a number in chat to choose, or type a search term to search further or select a group.

__NOTECARD DELIVERY__
You can send any chosen notecard to another avatar.
While viewing a list (via 'Choose' or 'Search') just type the number next to your choice and 'send' (eg '3 send').
Or if you have already selected and viewed/received a NC, click "Deliver NC" in menu.

You will then see a text box. Confirm that the correct NC is listed and type their name (Firstname Lastname or user.name) or UUID in the box. FastNotes will then automatically send.

MEMOS
Use the "Write" function to record and "Read" to say them back in chat.

Clicking the top of the HUD icon will minimise it; clicking the Fast Notes title will open the extended menu.

-4- NOTES
________________________________________________

• You can add any number of notecards you wish to the Fast Notes HUD, but there is a limit of how many titles can be listed at once in chat (up to 500 depending on the length of your notecard names). If you try to list too many, Fast Notes will inform you that you need to refine your search.

• A script cannot read the text of a notecard if it has any embedded items in it (eg landmarks, textures, etc).
Fast Notes will attempt to read the notecard, but if it cannot, it will give you a copy instead.

-5- MENU
________________________

For most everyday usage you will only need the buttons on the HUD itself.
However there are further functions available in the extended menu (click on the Fast Notes title to open)

• Copy - Gives you a copy of the notecard you've selected via Search or Choose (if it is not done automatically)
• Minimise - Reduces HUD to minimum size (same as clicking on top edge of HUD).

• Give list - Gives you all the notecards that match your current search
• Delete list - Deletes all the notecards that match your current search
• Clear memos - Clears all stored memos
• Deliver NC - Sends the found notecard to another avatar.

• Delete all - Deletes all notecards in contents
• Reset - Resets script.
• Help - Says instructions in chat and gives a copy of instructions graphic.
• Channel - loads any custom input channel you want to use
