So much for great animations, great avatars... and avatars still feel dead...
Something's wrong...
What is it...?
THEY'RE COMPLETELY SILENT!
This is when Dynastep comes in!
Wait Dynastep? what's this thing!? Some new stupid dance move?
Oh, not at all, Dynastep is a HUD tool which makes Second Life feel a bit more alive by adding footsteps and other ambient sounds to an avatar's movement!
Add that spice your awesome avatar is lacking to be complete! It comes with two default libraries, and more are to come in the future which you will be able to get for a low price!
You can even make your own if you wish!
Dynastep will play a set of sounds following a timing you can also set up, and, if the place you are at is compatible with this feature, and, the library supports them, it will also detect what kind of surface you're standing on! That includes, but is not limited to, grass, metal, gravel, sand, wood, concrete... etc
Not only plays sounds from your footsteps, but it also supports a second audio channel, letting you add special effects, like clothing movement as you walk or run! (No, jumping with your hands is not really a natural thing, normal people don't do that)
Give your avatar the extra bit it needs to be complete, get Dynastep, and let everyone, not only see your avatar, but also hear it too!
- 2 available sound channels
- Surface recognition (with compatible areas)
- Library system, custom libraries supported
- HIGHLY customizable setups
- API/Plugin system available for creators
Cool as hell.
Thank you.
hart to setup but damn nice to have
Its a whole other feeling when walking an the sound of my heels are to hear. At the sims they always say, that i am to hear before they seem me. :D
I love it but!..
Love this HUD, it's a must have!.. But it's totally not that user-friendly.
BUY IT NOW! MUST HAVE
I would like to scream about HOW IS THIS NOT A DEFAULT FUNCTION IN SL! I am telling all my friends about this MUST HAVE foot step sound that makes SL feel more realisitc! Love the step sound change from whatever I step on
Noice.
Just had to set the timming thing according to my walk/run anims and it was ready to go :D I'll probably add some sounds of my own, since the system allows you to, and that's cool. And the price is not high at all for what it does, totally worths the try! 5 stars
