So much for great animations, great avatars... and avatars still feel dead...
Something's wrong...
What is it...?
THEY'RE COMPLETELY SILENT!
This is when Dynastep comes in!
Wait Dynastep? what's this thing!? Some new stupid dance move?
Oh, not at all, Dynastep is a HUD tool which makes Second Life feel a bit more alive by adding footsteps and other ambient sounds to an avatar's movement!
Add that spice your awesome avatar is lacking to be complete! It comes with two default libraries, and more are to come in the future which you will be able to get for a low price!
You can even make your own if you wish!
Dynastep will play a set of sounds following a timing you can also set up, and, if the place you are at is compatible with this feature, and, the library supports them, it will also detect what kind of surface you're standing on! That includes, but is not limited to, grass, metal, gravel, sand, wood, concrete... etc
Not only plays sounds from your footsteps, but it also supports a second audio channel, letting you add special effects, like clothing movement as you walk or run! (No, jumping with your hands is not really a natural thing, normal people don't do that)
Give your avatar the extra bit it needs to be complete, get Dynastep, and let everyone, not only see your avatar, but also hear it too!
- 2 available sound channels
- Surface recognition (with compatible areas)
- Library system, custom libraries supported
- HIGHLY customizable setups
- API/Plugin system available for creators
I have been looking for something like this for years.
And I've finally found it, at last. It's great, I've had it for awhile now, I love how you can change the description or a prim to, say... wood or metal, and the sounds change to match that. This is great.
I...
use to cringe at walkers but this with its adjustable volume and total control regarding step timings etc. adds a whole new depth to my immersive experience. Everyone should have one :3

Totally worth the price
Started trying it in a skybox at first. Footsteps sounded nice and after getting the timings right it was great to have some more realism in SL. But once I got on the ground level my mind was blow how awesome it feels to walk and run on different surfaces. Safe to say that this has gotta be the best 200$L I've ever spent.

Just what I needed to make my SL more dynamic! Just wow, amazing! My new fav tool, hope to see more updates in the future! Love it!
Awesome Product
Was recommended to this product from a friend and was not disappointed. Sounds great, love how the noise changes based on what you are walking on. For L$200 it is a great deal. Would recommend to anyone looking for some walking sound effects.
