The DJ Shoutcast Icecast Board changes music streams and reads song title and artist info from most Shoutcast version 1 & 2 and Icecast version 1 & 2 streaming music servers. This board will read song info for simple single stream (DJ) music servers. Not recommended for multi-stream commercial servers.
Warning: This product is inexpensive because it's a product in development. (You'd be amazed how many ways a stream can code its song titles....it's crazy.) It's possible that it might not be able to decode the song titles on some streams (icecast is particularly tricky). So please remember its low low price when leaving reviews. With that said, it works pretty well, it provides good value, and we have sold a LOT of them with very good reception. So it must be working for people with the major streams. I'm still developing it, so I welcome feedback.
We give you TWO versions -- the first version uses text prims to show the DJ and song info. It can show 48 characters of song name (see title picture) and is 16 land impact.
The second version (see additional pictures), a new invention of ours we think you'll like, can handle virtually unlimited length song names because it uses prim media. You can customize the display with high quality animated backgrounds, a ton of Google (tm) fonts and all standard html text colors. It's basically an active web page that you can edit super easily! No programming knowledge required. And this prim media is only 2 land impact!

Features of both boards!
General: Control your club, business or home's music stream with this board. A main title you can edit, song and artist info read from the music server, notecard and menus, editable text colors, sizes and fonts. Owner can assign people as admins and DJs. Guest DJ function with password PIN.
Admin menu features:
Streams - While not in DJ mode, Type in a music URL, Start the default stream, Select from a list of music channels like a radio.
Pin Mode - Allow or Disallow guest DJs not listed on the notecard to login if they know the pin code. Admin can also change pin.
DJ menu features;
Display Name - Use regular display name on the board.
Enter Name - Use a fancy DJ name you type in.
DJ Saved URL - Click to select the music server URL associated with your name on the notecard.
DJ Music URL - Type in a music server URL. Useful if you are a guest DJ.
DJ Song Info - Hide or Show song title/artist info.
Notecard features:
With the config notecard you can:
Assign admins (trusted people with Admin menu access).
Assign DJs.
Assign a default stream that will begin playing when a DJ logs out.
Assign 8 general use music streams like a radio.
Display notecard allows you to:
Customize a background pic, especially animated graphics from an internet source.
Set the board title using text or web image/banner.
Set a custom line of text to display.
Set text line colors by section (title, dj info, song info, custom text line).
Set each of those sections' text sizes.
Set general text font using Google (tm) fonts. Over 1300 fonts are available!
NOTE: Land/Group setup - The DJ Shoutcast Board owner must also be the land owner. If the land is deeded to a group the object will need to be deeded to the same group for the board to be able to change the music stream URL.
Copy version for single-user owned land.
Transfer version for group-owned land.
Board is mod but not the scripts.

Excellent Board and Excellent Customer Service
This review is long overdue. This board has really served me well and it’s easy to use. I had trouble initially getting it to work in my land and the developer was very helpful, and even came to my parcel to help me with it. No issues since. I highly recommend this product.
DJs: this is what you want to have!
Five stars for an excellent product! In case you are an artist into music instead of a wizkid: this board is what you want to buy! It is dead cheap, all instructions are clear and excellent, and the board looks good and shows a lot of information. You can add more alts as DJs, with a pincode you can invite every other DJ you like, and you can add your favorite radio stations too. All of this is very clearly explained step by step, with text and pictures, so that you can't go wrong! Be sensible and don't be a thief of your own wallet: this is the Shoutcast Board you want for your club as a DJ! Signed: DJ Floyd.
More customer service than the price deserves
Thank you Indi, for all your efforts (and a script rewrite) to get my stream to work. For $25L you can't beat this, and the customer service is second to none. Get one!
