Terraforming with no limits
NOTE!!! You need to stay in the sim while the tool is terraforming the land.!!!!
This is a built-in restriction in scripted terraforming functions.
EdenScape Creator is a terrain design and management application that lets you do almost everything RAW files can do and much more, with only terraforming rights, no estate manager rights needed.
* You can terraform entire sim, one parcel or any selected area.
* You can create the terrain height maps outside SL with image manipulation tools or 3D design tools and create the terrain in SL. Any elevation map you have can be easily converted to terrain in SL.
* You can save your terrain as height map that can be read by image manipulation tools outside SL, edit it,and apply on your parcel in SL.
* You can copy-paste terrains from any region to your land.
* You can make backup of your parcel terrain and later restore it from backup. Or restore any part of it.
* EdenScape terraform Stencil area tool is included in the box.
The attached file 'EdenScape User Manual.pdf' contains the user manual and description of terrain notecards included in the tool.
The tool creates the terrain at the Second Life terrain mesh resolution of 1 x 1 meters. The maximum error of the land height is 8 mm. The speed of the tool depends on the sim server and load, in tests it has been between 8 and 25 square meters per second.
EdenScape Creator tries to offer versatile options for creating terrains, and (unfortunately) using all the capabilities will require careful reading of the manual; basically the functionality is similar as pasting a patch of image into another image in Photoshop or Gimp, and it is not a trivial task for a new user, especially since the levels of terrain need to be accurately controlled. It is good idea to try small patches first, and play with the settings to get familiar with the menus and terrain notecard syntax.
PERMS:
The tool is mod/copy, all the included terrain elevation maps are full perm, most scripts are no mod.
BUGS:
The tool has been tested as thoroughly as I have been able to do, and it does not have any bugs I know of. It has limitations and awkward design choices (like you cannot apply a part of a terrain notecard, but need to crop the map outside of SL), Also, when you rez it first time, it gives warning for changed location, please ignore that. Certainly it has bugs too, and I will do my best to fix them and redeliver the tool to all customers.

EdenScape Creator tool is for personal use.
Commercial terraforming service using this tool requires written permission. You may use this tool with no limitations on your own land or anyone else's land as long as it is not a paid service. It is OK to do favors to others and get reward, but advertising the terraforming service using this tool requires permission.

GREAT product BUT very litle support
once you figure it out by reading the PDF it's kind of simple.. BUT until then it's a pain and very very little customer support

My New Favorite Tool in SL
It does exactly what it says it does, perfectly. I had a minor issue (that was my fault) and the creator was very helpful, quick and professional in helping me resolve it. Very highly recommended.
This Little Gadget is AMAZING!
I rented a full region and don't have access to upload a RAW file, but I do own a couple of regions where I am able to use RAW files...This gadget was able to duplicate any design I applied to my own region to the rented region with no problem and in a timely manner. Due to LL restrictions, you must stay in the region while the edenscape creator does the terraforming. Full region took about ~60 mins. Not only do you get this nifty little gadget, you also receive reliable customer service!!! If I could rate this gadget 10 stars I would! So happy I could cry.
Brilliant, Quite Brilliant!
Easy to use, works like a treat. An essential tool for sim creators. You can quickly copy the sim topography of one sim and re-create it accurately on another sim. Linda is always happy to assist should the need arise. Highly recommended.
