French Style House

Mademoiselle Emmeline loved her roof top apartment in Paris so much that when she received a large inheritance on the death of her Grand’Mere she knew exactly what she wanted to do. It took her no time at all to find a plot of land on the west coast overlooking a wonderful beach of white sand with endless views of sea and sky – and here she had her apartment re-created as a beach house, sitting regally, surrounded by dunes feathered with marin grass and wild flowers.

Here she spent the summer months relaxing and entertaining - her formal living room was ideal for dinner parties and she often held dances on the roof, but her latin passion was so stimulated by the company, the sea air and the local wine that she found herself (more than once) leading her lover gently by the hand to her beautifully decadent bedroom, waking in the morning to the sun pouring through the louvered shutters as she sipped her lemon tea, gazing dreamily at the breaking waves.

This home has been built almost completely from sculpts allowing a very high level of detail at a modest prim count.

The ground floor has a canopied double door (lockable) opening onto a large living room with animated tintable curtains with curtain ties. On the floor is a large carpet with a variety of user selectable textures, the script allows the owner to add their own textures. There are detailed oil lamps on each of the four remaining walls. Both curtains and lights are scripted to work together.

The ground floor is dominated by a grand staircase leading to the bedroom.

The bedroom is an attic style room with four sliding louvered doors each with a detailed balcony, just touching a door will make the pair slide into the recess but flicking the wall switch will make the animated louvers close at the same time lighting the central log fire.

Touching the ceiling will allow you to choose new textures from a range supplied or add your own.
Touching the middle post on the stair landing will TP you to the roof an ideal space for parties.

Please note the box contains a few non transferable objects so although the house is transferable the boxed collection isn’t – if you wish to buy for a friend please use the ‘buy for friend’ option.

The extensive use of sculpts and mega prims means that this house would be easily damaged if offered as a modable item, and so this option won’t be available. A copy/mod version will be available in time, but again this is more to facilitate sim developers, modification is limited.
