This medieval house design features Tudor style architectural cues and an array of interior props. It is designed to suit a home, inn/bed & breakfast, and/or tavern setting.

Key Features:
• Tudor & Cotswold inspired design
• Decorative half-timbering
• Steeply pitched roofs
• Prominent cross gables
• Detailed fireplaces
• Decorative trellis
• Large chimneys
• Floral props
• Dozens of detailed kitchen props
• (GL)3E gaming resource items (health, stamina, morale, water resupply, ammo resupply props)
• Mesh (polygonal), sculptie (displacement), and prim (primitive shapes) modeling techniques
• Custom textures
• 35m x 30m surface area
• 315 prims (383 prims with kitchen and (GL)3E props rezzed)
• Built for realistic / normal human avatar scale (may not be compatible with over-sized human scale)
• copy/no mod/no trans (house and kitchen perms)
• no copy/no mod/trans- ((GL)3E resource items perms)

(Some items are made to be separate pieces from the main building structure, so one can use or not use these items to save more on prim count)

*Special note: To economize on prim count / land impact, and for efficient scripting functions between objects (i.e., texture changing, particle effects, lighting effects, and future 3E gaming elements), various models of this item are necessarily combined in an external 3d ap (or group linked) - resulting in a minimizing of prim counts, providing efficient scripting functions, and minimizing open channel chat communications (a contributor to sim "lag") with link set communications - all in all for the user's benefit. Contains link set child number script dependencies (this is not a builder kit) - thus is set to "no-mod" to prevent breakage of scripting functions and all other aforementioned integral design elements as well.

  • Tudor & Cotswold inspired design
  • Decorative half-timbering
  • Steeply pitched roofs
  • Prominent cross gables
  • Various kitchen props and food givers

A beautifully made house, great textures and a warm inviting feel. It's got a rustic romantic feel to it. Lots of space give an ease to the camera freedom and plenty of room for you to make this house a home. There is only one really bad thing about this home is the no mod permissions, especially for this price.
I can understand making the scripts no mod that would be fine and understandable. Having the option to remove parts or change a texture here or there to make it uniquely your own home would have been great. Perhaps a future update will fix that or perhaps offering two versions of the house would work, one with the scripting and one without the scripting but with mod rights, then I would gladly give it 5 stars.

After having bought the Castle Tower Lupa I also took the chance and bought this, without having seen it inworld and well knowing that it for some sad reason is no-mod.

And it sure is a beautiful house. Well sculpted, great textures and an overall nice feel. It is romantic and rustic yet it does feel brand new and clean and I’ll imagine that your girlfriend or wife in particular will love it. It got lots of space, the camera freedom is great (unlike the Lupa Tower) and to boot you’ll get a lot of great looking props for the kitchen. I can’t really come up with anything bad to say about this at all.

Except for the no-mod permissions. Like I wrote in regards to the Lupa tower then making the scripts no-mod makes sense and is perfectly alright but making the build itself no-mod makes little to no sense at all. And just like the Lupa tower this house doesn’t need much modding at least to my taste, since I haven’t found any grim flaws (like stretched textures etc ) yet. However having had the option to remove the flowerbed around it and minor things like that would have been great.

5 stars for the general craftsmanship but I’ll stop at 4 due to it not being mod.

I have seen many builds in SL as a landlord but the attention to detail and the clever layout and use of amazing textures and features makes this house one of the best crafted builds in SL. Visually it looks stunning on any landscape. So many aspects of this build shows creativity, imagination and precision. The team at Gryphon Lair are to be congratulated on their dedication and design skills. Highly recommend this house for residents looking for class and uniqueness! I hope residents appreciate the flair and care thats been taken to capture the atmosphere and serenity of this amazing home.
