The Secret Entrance.
Pass through the dark, leafy entrance tunnel and emerge into the sunlight of a rainforest jungle clearing. You'll find yourself surrounded by the ruins of an old Aztec structures, full of towering stones and strange carvings. Over to one side is a series of stone steps leading up to the top, where you'll find a huge stone disk on a plinth. Watch you don't ttrip over that pile of old skeleton bones and skulls in the corner. And don't step in that small dank pool of rippling water by the wall.

Weather effects and ambient sounds:
The jungle is full of sounds to bring it alive, so expect to hear exotic bird calls and rolling thunder. You'll also see animated sunbeams shining down from the foliage above you. There's also small fireflies that dance around in the beams, flickering in the light. You'll also experience the occasional drenching shower of rain. You can prevent the rain by simply saying "stop raining" at any time and you won't get any more rain until the next time the holodeck scene is used.

The Sacrificial Table.
Down in the foliage, you'll find the original stone table, used in secret, ancient sacrificial rites. Look for the sacrificial dagger lying on the slab. If you touch it, you'll be given a copy of the dagger that you can use with the sacrificial poses.

The Poses.
Hidden around the ruins, you'll find exciting poses, some of which are animated. There's a few built into the Plinth, which will allow a victim to get spread-eagled against the Stone Disk, including some submission poses for the top of the stairs. The Sacrificial Table has poses and animations where you can play the victim lying on the table. Behind the Stone Table, there's a column and if you sit on that, it'll activate the Sacrificial Priest's poses. They're the one that wields the dagger! You can use the Dagger you get from the table with these poses, too.

Falling Rocks.
Watch out for falling rocks, there's a few loose ones amongst the top edges of the ruins and they have a habit of crashing down close to you. The can also bounce around once they've got the ground, so keep your eyes open. You can click-and-drag them to one side, but they'll vanish on their own after a while.

As with all the Exosphere Holodeck scenes, everything gets automatically cleared away when you select "clear" from the Holodeck menu. The Aztec Ruins is a blend of prims, mesh and sculpties giving a total land impact of a 78.

Inventory does not install automatically. As usual. I think that's bad.

I absolutely love the look and feel of this scene. I modified it a little for my own use but really did not have to do much at all its beautiful as is. Look forward to seeing what else you or others come up with for the Holodeck!
