DEMO AVAILABLE IN-WORLD!
You can pick up a demo copy inworld, and fly before you buy! The demo version is No Copy/No Mod/No Trans, but is otherwise fully functional (except for access to the Livery and Paint menus), and it will derezz itself when you stand from the craft. It can be found at five locations in-world, listed below:

The craft has several handling options, which can be set to make the craft handle easily, or set to harder modes to provide any pilot with a challenge. It features Enhanced steering mode (craft will stop banking when steering keys are released), or you can test yourself with Realistic mode, in which the craft's control yoke need to be manually returned to the center.
It also has duel speed modes - enabling the craft to power along at 70 knots inworld, or to utilise a gentler pace to reflect a Gyrocopters relatively slow speed in comparison to other Second Life® aircraft.
General responsiveness can be altered to reflect a normal, "heavy" or "sharp" feel.
It has three Auto-level modes, allowing the craft to self-level after climbing/descending slowly, rapidly, or not at all .
Rudder steer can be used to make precise course corrections when aligning a runway by holding the SHIFT key in external view, and by holding down the Left Mouse Button [LMB] in Mouselook. This precise level of control makes lining up that runway a breeze!
The craft's speed is also affected by its pitch. Pitch down, and the craft gains speed. Pull the nose up, and speed will drop off, just like real world craft.
The Mayfly will even mimic an Autorotation landing. Cut the power, and the craft will carry on under full control whilst you choose your landing area as you descend to the ground. It will even restart the engine automatically after a successful landing.
At 20 Objects/30LI, it powers easily through sim boundaries, re-rezzing rapidly after a crossing, and with minimal "rubber-banding". It also has the ability to check for pilot input, constantly monitoring for unexpected logoffs, and will freeze the craft should the pilot be forced from Second Life® (if the current sim allows). It will wait 10 minutes for the pilot to return, before self-derezzing if the pilot fails to retrieve the craft.
As with our other craft, nose-first and tail-scrape landings will not be tolerated. This means you will need to be on your toes during landings, and is intended to add to the realism of flying in Second Life®.
PSD Texture templates are available (downloadable at URL below), which enable you to customise your livery to whatever takes your fancy. Applying your new livery can be done using the supplied drag-and-drop Paint Applier script, and this also allows dedicated livery makers to easily and securely distribute their work.

All in all, this is a fun, safe and unique way to take yourself and one passenger across the skies of Second Life®. We hope that you find this aircraft a useful addition to your Second Life® aviation fleet, and we are confident you will find the plane reliable, serviceable, and pleasant to fly.

very good and enjoyable but...
I really enjoy this gyro. Easy to handle, easy to fly and to land. Sim crossing is generally good and the camera hud is a charm. A must have.
So why not 5 stars? Well, there are a few minor drawbacks:
I would like to have an easier way to make the menu pop up. Touching the tail while flying is not good and typing "menu" is not the best thing (if you do many typos like me) . In many aircraft you just touch a button on a hud. But this gyro has no hud, except for the cam. The only way to know altitude or pitch is to look at the instrument panel in the cockpit.
But the really annoying thing is that the gyro asks you every 2 or 3 minutes to change the pitch or the course, to prove that someone is still piloting. I am flying and enjoying the landscape and the blessed thing wants me to change fly attitude. Absolutely a killjoy. I can't believe that there is no other way to let the script know that you are still in charge.
Finally, the Mayfly has several modes and settings. It would be nice if it was clear which are the default settings.
VERY Nice flying
This is an extremely nice flying machine. Also well suited for people new to flying in SL and want a good experience not a large learning curve. This gyro keeps on going when all other flyers are crashing constantly. Takes sim crossings extremely smooth.
