Networked Vending System

The Networked Vending System (NVS) is an great tool for selling large-scale items, such as vehicles, structures, buildings, up to whole cities. It combines a rich set of features of our Single Product Holographic Vendor (SPV-H) with the networking power. The NVS in-world star topology includes one control node (server) and up to 100 client nodes and may span a whole sim.

A client node is our Single Product Holographic Vendor, SPV-H (see related items), which retains all the features of a stand-alone unit. In network configuration it will rez product demos via the control node, all in the same location relative to the control node.

The NVS supports remote configuration and control of SPV-H vending boards via the control node's user-friendly menu-driven interface. Vending boards configuration may be stored either in the boards themselves or in the control node (or both). Most remote commands require a single click of a button in the remote control on-touch menu.

The NVS also supports remote loading products and their associated items into the vending boards via the same user interface with just 3 clicks.

The NVS includes one control node (mod, no copy, trans), one copiable SPV-H unit (mod, copy, no trans), and one copiable Universal Objects Rezzer for making demos (mod, copy, no trans). The control node is a single-prim box; you may transfer the scripts in your own object; the SPV-H single product vending board is also one prim.

This system is not for everyone! Each of your products would require a separate SPV-H board, so if you have many products but prims are at a premium you may consider our stand-alone MPV-FR demo rezzer (see related items) which would rez demos of up to 100 products from a single board via on-touch menu.

If you sell prim clothing, jewelry and similar items we do not recommend this system. While it can rez any object, it is intended for rezzing large scale demos. Purchase instead our multi-product 3D Holographic Vendor MPV-H (see related items).
