Play your own music in second life.
Upload your songs to a free platform
(i suggest https://d.tube or soundcloud.com) and
have your songs then available to choose from in
second life.
Create a playlist and let it run once or loop mode.
You can also just pick one song and let that one play.
The device uses Shared Media in Second Life, so
make sure, that you have automatic play in settings
checked.
After uploading the songs to soundcloud.com you
can create a playlist on a notecard, by copying the
urls from soundcloud and the duration of the song
(soundcloud shows it to you) to the notecard.
In case your land is group owned, you need to use
the (included) transfer version of the device and
deed it to the group that owns the land.

I contacted Trigit Amat and suggested this little gadget a while ago, in order to be able to stream my own music from SoundCloud.
The service and enthusiasm from this creator was superb all along, and the little unit works very well indeed.
If I could give 10 stars I would but you will have to do with the five that Linden Labs allow. :)

Amazing little gadget! After days upon days of research into how to simply play my own custom music in my own house without signing up to some paying streaming service or making my own radio station I came across this and it is a god send! Simple and easy to set up, thank you so much for creating this wonderful product for people to enjoy and great work! XD
