This two bedroom, one bathroom house has an open foyer, a large living room space, a dining room and a kitchen on the first floor. The second floor hosts a master bedroom with a closet or reading nook, another large bedroom and a paneled bathroom. There is also a small sitting area off the upstairs hall.
All the rooms can be textured separately with any horizontally tiling wall texture. I happen to sell a couple packs of wall textures with a wide selection of colors! Check out the related items for a link.
I've included a 'trim' version of the house, with less frills and fanciness, that has only 80 land impact. The trim version has a simplified entryway and doesn't have any mesh crown molding/baseboards. The wall textures have a trim of their own, so the building still really pops, even if you're on a prim budget.
Do you hate trying to rez furniture in your mesh house only to have SL tell you that you don't have permission? This sometimes happens when you try to rez on top of mesh. This drives me nuts, so to combat the problem, I have kept the floors of this house as regular prims. You can rez anything on the floors and you won't ever have that pesky problem. Note that since the building is almost entirely mesh (almost everything except the floors), unlinking it will increase the land impact.
Come see it in world!

You take a lot of chances buying a 250L house. But I can tell you WOW! This has all the quality of roost homes for a very tiny fraction of the cost. I'm entirely picky about houses and this one checks all the boxes. Spacious rooms, lovely textures, doors that don't slap you on the bottom or glitch out. AMAZING!
Well thought out and built, amazing for the price!
I've been in SL a while and, while I have toured MANY prefab houses, I've only bought two. The first (years ago) was a fine Craftsman bungalow that still I still use. This is the second. What the two have in common is that the builders didn't try to recreate too precisely the interior layout of a "real" home. In my opinion, that approach often leads to small rooms, steep stairways, narrow hallways, and tight spaces that are difficult to navigate (especially when furnished) and not always fun to live or entertain in. Striking the proper balance of interior spaces that are attractive and comfortable, fun and easy to furnish and customize, and a delight to be in and show off -- all while fitting inside a handsome structure that looks right from the outside -- can't be an easy task. But this house does it well!
You can both visit and tour the house inworld AND get a free demo that you can try out on your own land. I found this super handy for making sure that the build would actually fit and look the way I hoped and needed. This is a generous offering that I wish more home builders would offer.
Although not mentioned in the item description, some great added touches are worth mentioning. All the doors are Kool Door scripted, so you can manage how they open/close as well as access rights. All the pretty sash windows have a rippled vintage glass texture, and they all slide smoothly open and closed at the owner's touch.
If you're looking for a highly customizable home for a steampunk or Victorian/Edwardian/Georgian community -- and at a great price, too -- you may well need to look no further!
So good I bought it twice
I've had this house for a long while, but I bought it in-world, so I couldn't leave a review.
It deserves a review.
If you are like me and enjoy renovating, look no further. This 250L / 88li home has excellent bones. It is logically built and lends itself easily to whatever you want to do.
I've spent untold L on other houses.... I always come back to this one.
