About The Ultimate 'Limited Edition' Product Manager:

Thank you for your interest in the Ultimate 'Limited Edition' Product Manager. The Server was created specifically as a tool for builders and designers to market their own limited edition products. It does not deliver the product or in any way replace your current vendor(s) - it is designed to compliment your existing production capabilities. Template 'plates' have been included ready to link to your product which automatically set themselves to the limited edition number issued by your Server when your customers first rez their new product.
Once the issuing process has been completed all scripts delete themselves so you won't have any rogue scripts hanging around in your product.

Ok, so how does this work? Simply put, the Server keeps track of, and issues numbers to, your products. It maintains logs and handles the current numbering for any of your products and the included script and configuration note card (which you simply drop into your product) handle the rest. Your customer's unique limited edition number is issued to them automatically the first time they rez your product.
The system is vendor independent, so you can use SL's Marketplace, HippoVEND, CasperVend or any combination of vendors. The server tracking is based on the initial (first) rez of your product by each of your customers. We personally have used the Server actively with the combination of Marketplace, Hippovend and it works brilliantly !!! (see how modest we are).
You should only ever need one Server but you can rez as many as you wish - each Server has it's own unique key and operates independently. This could be useful if you had a lot of limited edtion products and you wanted to put them into 'category' Servers.

When your limited edition product run is getting close to completion the Server will notify you via IM and also Email. These notifications countdown to the last number in the range at 5, 3, 2, 1 and 0. When the final number is reached the Server will send a '0' for every product that is rezzed thereafter and continue to send you IM and email notifications.
