Wingsong Roaming Fish (THIN) - Goldfish Box

My Second Life roots go real deep in the fishing subculture. My first "job" here was doing Match fishing tournaments, and some of my favorite early building was fish-related. After all this time, I'm still making fish products, and still loving it!

There are many wonderful roaming fish on the grid. Some are wonderfully animated sculpted fish weighing in at 3 to 5 prims who swim randomly. Some are flat alpha fish who swim in nonrandom circles. The Wingsong Roaming Fish (THIN) series are sort of in between these two kinds of fish; they are single prim high quality flat alphas placed on a roaming prim.

We also make some THICK sculptied fish which are, predictably, in our THICK series; they are usually one or two prims heavier. The THIN fish are designed specifically for folks on a rather tight prim budget and the THICK ones are more fleshed out.

So - for all your roaming fish needs, we've got you covered through THICK and THIN!

You get three THIN goldfish; they are almost identical except for their ranges: 20 meters, 7 meters, 1.5 meters. The 1.5 meters one is somewhat smaller than the other two.

FEATURES and HOW TO USE

1 - REZ onto land.

2 - These fish have superb roaming engines (NOT Pathfinder; many landlords don't allow Pathfinder scripting so we've stayed away from that for now). The have been well trained to swim smoothly. They swim in random paths, not predictable circles.

3 - With their onboard flexied textures, they aren't the old fashioned stiff fish, but rather fluid and graceful.

4 - Because they are COPY/MOD you can put as many as you like and resize. The script is NOT modifiable so you cannot reset the range.

5 - They work best when they are not colliding with other physical objects. If you put them in a pond or tank you probably need to set your pond or tank to PHANTOM. Your fish must remain PHYSICAL, and two physical items cannot coexist in the same space, even in Second Life.

6 - Our resident Wingsong FisherFolk have traveled over the Seven Seas looking for only quality alpha textures for these fish. We usually make our own alphas to avoid getting that dastardly halo effect that substandard alphas have. Many of our fish alpha textures are available FULL PERM at our Marketplace store.
