This is a WEAR boat, so it goes anywhere you do. Turn off AO's first. Then WEAR (or ADD, if you have anything else attached to your stomach), and go row your boat. It floats on any natural water on the grid!) Sorry, no passengers in this one.

Row, row, row your BOAT! In a Wingsong Row Boat!

With the world being full of some really great old row boats, why in the world would we want to build another one?

Because in all my travels, studying shipyards, marinas, and piers in search of a boat that gave me all the low lag, high fun, low cost features my sensibilities (HAHAHAHA!) demanded, I could not find a single boat that does everything that the Wingsong Rows do!

Our boat yard has several Wingsong Row Boats. The Wingsong Row Boat WEAR (say that three times real fast!) is designed for those who want to take their boat anywhere without having to be concerned about finding a rezzing site. While retaining most of the features of a regular boat, it does not bank.

You and I have both seen PRETTIER boats. But heck, if you were looking for pretty you wouldn't be looking at Wingsong, would you? The boat is sleek and small in comparison to many row boats.

So - to answer the original question about why the world might benefit from yet another row boat? Here are 9 reasons:

1 - Excellent original Wingsong ANIMATION - Your arms might get tired just watching! Embedded with a quality original Wingsong animation, your avatar is facing you with his or her back to the direction he or she is heading. I have to warn you, though, after about an hour of vigorous rowing your avatar might make rude gestures at you. It's been known to happen.

2 - Two SCULPTY OARS - WEAR your oars (Wingsong Oar right hand and Wingsong Oar left hand).

3 - Very relaxing rhythmic SURF SOUND when you click on the hull. Touch again to turn the surf off.

4 - A great BOAT HORN that you can play by touching the stern (such a BIG sound for such a LITTLE boat!)

5 - CRUISE CONTROL - Attach the Navigation HUD enclosed - includes speedometer, almiteter, compass, and the coolest cruise control you can imagine! OPEN AND COPY the Wingsong Navigation HUD box, read the info sheet for full benefit, and then take off! This HUD works with just about any wearable you have! Turn off your AO's first. Point yourself in the direction you want to go, touch the up arrow key, and WHOOSH! You're off! Press the PAGE DOWN key to brake.

6 - RAIN MAKER - You can toggle this really nice rain shower on and off by touching the pilot's seat.

7 - ILLUMINATING TORCH - Touch to turn it off and on - EXCELLENT illumination for night rowing. Being safety conscious here at the dojo, we installed an automatic extinguisher. If I've done my math correctly, and I don't guarantee that I have, the fire slowly burns out over a ten to twelve minute period. You can turn it back on by clicking it.

8 - TINY LITTLE MIST - I don't know what this is all about. It's coming from that box under your seat, and I don't know what's in the box either. Looks ominous. Anyway, you can turn it on and off by touching the box. I discourage you turning it on - you just don't know what it's going to do! This is what comes from having Mad Scientists with no sense of humor on my staff. I ask them what's in the box and why it has that, that STUFF coming out of it. They just look frightened and skulk away into the shadows of the dungeon (that is, FINE WORKSHOP) where they live.

9 - WAKE - You can toggle it on and off by touching that little wood knob just under the bow. Yeah. THAT'S the one.

Your Wingsong Row Boat WEAR is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
