Wingsong Submarine Convertible Box
The Wingsong Submarine Convertible is our small personal submarine. To use, REZ and BOARD. Touch UP ARROW key to for initial acceleration. Use arrow keys for direction. Locks into CRUISE CONTROL at 3 meters per second. PAGE DOWN brakes.
Being a convertible, it doesn't have a top. Instead, it has a small opening just over the pilot's seat. While you won't actually drown without wearing a helmet we're including a Wingsong Submarine Helmet just to be on the safe side. Attaches by default to your nose. Whenever your face goes below sea level you'll blow bubbles through the helmet's venting system - very cool!
The textures of your underwater sub compartment are high tech and futuristic. This little sub has some really great features for such a small underwater vehicle. She clocks in at about 2 meters per second (WHOA!) , making her ideal for underwater sight seeing. She has a great sonar sound that can be toggled on and off by touching the bottom of the sub. Your propeller is in constant rotation, and you hear a gentle surf sound as soon as you board your sub. Additionally, you can hear the low hum of the engine if you touch the propeller (Not to worry - it only hurts for a minute!).
Touch the center hub of your propeller blade to toggle on a jet trail as you glide through the water. Touch the top glass to hear the blare of a boat horn. There's a little smoke of some sort coming up from under the control panel - I have no idea what that's all about. You can toggle it off by touching the pedal stool that the control panel is sitting on.
Above the water line is a whole different world. The lens of your periscope houses a large blinking eyeball. Touch the housing of the periscope and it bursts into illuminating, cracking flames (which will die out in a few minutes and will not in any way blind your eyeball).
Rotate your camera a bit and reach down into the cabin of the sub to click on the pilot's seat and toggle on a really nice little rain shower. Oh, yeah. You're right. That's just alot of work for a little rain. So - you can also just touch that big crate for the same rain shower.
Sure, it rains underwater, and above water, too!
Invite a couple of friends to journey with you. The first one gets positioned in the cage. HAHAHAHA! The second one sits on top of the crate using his or her own default sit animation.
I know, I know. None of it makes any sense at all.
Making sense is highly over-rated!
Your Wingsong Submarine Convertible has no elevation system - it does not surface, it does not sink to the bottom of the ocean. It has excellent banking action, and the camera system has been painstakingly (I cannot emphasize to you HOW much PAIN was invested in this feature!) positioned so that by rolling back on your mouse wheel just a little you can see both underwater and above water scenes very easily.
Embedded with two original Wingsong animations.
Your Wingsong Submarine Convertible is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
NOTE: I'm including a FREE Wingsong Submarine Convertible B, which has the crate and cage alpha'ed - you cannot remove them without disrupting the overall design, but by making them alpha you won't be able to see them. You can still carry a passenger and you can still make it rain by clicking on the area where the crate is.
For even MORE fun go snap up one of our Wingsong Navigation Huds, sold separately - GREAT fun for all your attachments! Includes a compass, speedometer, altimeter, and cruise/speed control (which is automatically disabled for your rezzed vehicles, since most of our Wingsong rezzed vehicles have internal cruise controls and preset throttles.
For questions or a live demonstration of this or any of our fine/fun Wingsong products, IM Kit Ciaco!

I am confused by the crate and the cage? I tried to remove them so I could just use the sub. Inside it looks cool, and seems to work very well, but the crate? The steel cage? I'm just not sure what to do with either?
