Most of us have fantasized a little about being on a deserted island. We've played the game about what items would we want with us on the little island - and who we'd want with us!
Fantasize no more! The Wingsong Island Boat is a marvelously fun vehicle that you and your friends will love to board. Just find a REZ spot to bring your island out from your inventory and Board!
Invite your good friend for a cruise - the two original Wingsong animations are comfortable and relaxed. It'll hold more than two but you know what they say about three being a crowd. In this case, anyone after the second person on the island is gonna just look silly.
Touch the log to ignite a really nice little fire, complete with illuminating flame and cracking sound - it will slowly fade in about 5 or 6 minutes; touch it again to reignite.
Touch the sand to toggle ambient random nature sound clips to be played every few minutes.
Touch the stone water jug to toggle on a very soothing water sound loop.
Touch the basket of apples to toggle on a relaxing chorus of frogs.
Touch the book to toggle on crickets.
Touch the red rubber ball to toggle on a nice little rain shower.
Touch the palm tree to blow your really huge boat horn.
Touch the old locked box to blow your old Viking cow horn.
Talk about your interactive travels!
WEAR your enclosed Wingsong Navigation HUD (you have to rez the box, open it and copy to inventory separately the first time before you use it). It has a handy speedometer, altimter, cruise/speed control. The cruise/speed control are automatically disabled for RIDE vehicles such as this, but your island engine has a default cruise that kicks on automatically at 1 meters per second when you hit the UP ARROW key. Read the info inside the box for details.
Islands, as you know, move very slowly. This one actually "zips" along in comparison at 1 meter per second. Steer with your regular arrow keys. To put the brakes on just hit PAGEDOWN.
