Ray-ZR Clubman planing catamaran Versão 1.0 [2 October 2021]
The Ray-ZR (pronounced 'razor') Clubman is a freeware planing catamaran. Now anyone with limited or no access to L$ for the various payware products out there can have a cat for racing and time-trials such as Hotlaps events too.
Two versions are included: a basic model using the default BWind script settings, and a performance model because... well, because who doesn't want to go a little faster?!
32 cardinal wind directions - the HUD will give you a note-card with instructions on how to set the winds - and wind speeds between 4 and 25 knots, so Ray-ZR can sail to parameters equivalent to WWC windsetters in competitions and time-trials using that system.
Ray-ZR has three pose-balls in addition to the skipper's position: one each on either hull pontoon for sitting while moored, and a third central laying pose for a passenger to ride along while sailing: see the pictures for locations.
Ray-ZR is full-perm, as are all our freeware boats, so you can edit and tweak it however you like or use it as a template or guide for your own creations.
An Improved Water environment setting is also included in this pack. We used it for the pictures, along with Pixil's Pixels' 'Cloud Cover - High Cirrus 3' which we rather like: check out Pixelaleph's environment modifications here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/223024 (or search for Pixil's Pixels in the 'Merchants/Stores' tab).
