Reception Log Book

The Reception Log Book keeps a record of receptionists on duty at your institution.

ACCESS:

Level 0: Receptionists must have the institution group activated to use the Log Book. To sign in or sign out, the Book is clicked. While a receptionist is signed in, access is denied to others. The Book checks once a minute that the receptionist is in range (defined in the Book's object description in metres, default 25m). If not, a five-minute warning is given. If the receptionist does not return in range in this time s/he will be logged out. At the end of a duty period the receptionist data are all added to the Book's databank.

Level 1: Monitors, if any, are those are listed according to group tag as having special responsibility. When the Book is clicked a menu is offered with options:
* Log In/Out - sign in as receptionist
* Info - Info 1 notecard
* Data (in Chat/IM) - report all duties recorded

Level 2: Administrators are listed on the 'Access' notecard in the Book.The first administrator listed will receive a weekly report in IM, listing by date all receptionist data. After this report is sent, the databank is cleared.
If an administrator clicks the book, s/he is not logged in, but instead a menu is offered, with options such as:
* Log In/Out - sign in as receptionist
* Info - Info 2 notecard
* Data (in Chat/IM) - report all duties recorded
* Reset - clear the databank
* Backup - save the databank to the backup script
* Restore - load the backup into memory

Maintenance:
The Book performs an automatic daily backup of its databank after midnight UTC (GMT) before it is cleared. If the main script is replaced by an update, the Book automatically restores the databank from the backup script.

Level 3: The Owner may change the range of the receptionist sensor and the day on which the weekly report is sent. These are given in the Object Description in CSV format. The textures of the Book may be changed to suit the owner's institution.
