08 "Quad Pod" - four track recon vehicle Version 1
Planetside Excursion Vehicle from Exosphere
Once you have landed a mission team on a new sim, you can explore the surface with these powerful rugged vehicles.
The "Quad Pod" is a powerful vehicle, with four separate caterpillar track drives. This is an impressive vehicle to use to patrol the perimeter of your base. As you drive, the tracks all move. The faster you go, the faster they'll rotate. If you put it in reverse, they'll spin backwards. The glass dome over the driver opens and closes on touch. The engine sounds as it starts up and while it's running. As the vehicle moves, you'll see fumes emitted from the rear. It’s equipped with several gears for traction and speed. You can turn the lights on or off in chat. You can adjust the driver pose position through an interactive menu. Get more info by touching the help screen on the vehicle dashboard.
