Futuristic Hover Car in retro style
Fully customize-able, with recoloring options for various Stripes.
Realistic friction-less feel to the handling, turn off dampeners in the Menu for true Newtonian physics!
Realistic Sounds
Features one of the best synthetic horns in Second Life! Press the middle of the steering wheel, let it honk!
Hovers on every surface! Water, Terrain, Prims!
Dynamically adjusts to slopes
Heavily relies on raycast, in laggy regions it may not function properly. In that case it uses a backup mode when there are no raycasting, and can only Hover on terrain and water.
Mainland Compatible! (Don't try it near telehubs though)
It is perfect to travel on Mainland's Roads and waters, tested in Sansara and Blake Sea.
Version 1.2 Changes:
- Added Engine button, to toggle the engine, the engine doesnt turn on automatically when you sit in
- Added Random Color button
- Optimized Memory and script time usage
- Significantly improved geometry interpretation for hovering and height determination
- Further more improved slope interpretation, now you can stop and turn around, or even go sideways on a slope
Version 1.1 Changes:
- Added more efficient velocity tracking to interpret geometry (in other words it hovers better and less chance hitting stuff)
- Added clever slope interpretation, now you can stop on a slop and not slide down. (might not work sideways still)
- Added another passanger seat in the back, pretty crammed, only good for very small people.
- Added menu item to select which passanger to eject, backseat or front seat.
- Recolorable
- Authentic Sounds
- Authentic handling
- Customize-able Decals
- Group/Owner/Everyone Access
awesome little ride :)
Very impressed! What has most impressed me is that my first test drive was a total of 36 miles, from the western most road of Sansara (in Noyo), doing a counter clockwise lap of Sansara, crossing over the ANWR straits to Heterocera, and then nearly a complete lap of the atoll's coastal road to arrive at my home. This happened with the vehicle I originally rezzed at Noyo, I've *never* not lost a vehicle on a big drive before. It crossed sim borders well, and was resilient to SL's little foibles when travelling. Several times I had to relog to fix problems (a HUD that went dead, and a few occasions where I myself got stuck on a sim border), and the car was patiently waiting for my on my return. It even graciously managed to cope with a poorly performing sim (Echo), that had wildly fluctuating physics FPS and script run times.
